For some, film holds a deeper emotional pull than photography - a way of storytelling that stirs something visceral and enduring. When it comes to eloping in the vast, wild beauty of the Scottish Highlands, some couples feel there's no better way to relive the emotion and atmosphere than through the moving pictures and music of a cinematic film.

For lovers of both cinema and adventure, the idea of watching their elopement unfold on screen - vows exchanged among ancient mountains, windswept glens, and golden light - offers a powerful way to remember not just what the day looked like, but what it felt like.

That’s why I offer not only photography, but also cinematic elopement films that bring your story to life with rich, narrative-driven visuals and emotive soundscapes, transporting you back to that incredible day in a way only film can.

Whether you’d like a short highlight film to complement your photo gallery, or a longer standalone feature, these films are crafted with intention, to honour the depth of your experience and create a timeless keepsake to be shared now and cherished for generations to come.

Let’s capture your elopement the way it deserves: made for the big screen, and filled with heart.

Cinematic elopement films that belong on the big screen, because that's where your elopement deserves to be shown.

We couldn't have been more thrilled with our experience with Matt. He went above and beyond, offering guidance and assistance that truly enhanced our special day. Matt's knowledge of the area was invaluable, capturing breathtaking shots against Skye's stunning backdrop and we are forever grateful for the beautiful memories he captured.

Matt found our ceremony location and timed the ceremony perfectly - the sun coming up behind the mountains as we shared our vows was just magical, and this moment of magic is down to Matt's preparation before our big day. Matt is worth every dollar, so if you're thinking of eloping, you'll be stoked afterwards that you chose him.

Matt was brilliant from the start and made us feel so at ease. He knew Loch Lomond was special to us and captured the whole scene beautifully. Matt's style is effortless and it's like hanging around with an old friend, and we are in love with the range of wonderful photos we have - we couldn't have asked for more from his photos or his character.

Let's team up

Eloping to Scotland means it will likely rain at some point, even during the summer, so my advice is to embrace it! Some of my favourite elopements have been on wet and windy days because the weather can make your photos even more dramatic. If the weather is particularly bad, we can take short breaks and find spots that are a little more sheltered.

What happens during adverse weather?

My average turnaround for your photos is eight weeks, but this can fluctuate depending on time of year. The number of photos can vary depending on a number of factors, but on average my couples receive around 50 photos per hour of coverage.

Quality is much more important to me than quantity or speed, as I work to ensure you receive the very best final product.

When do we receive our photos, and how many will we get?

A question that one day I hope should never need be asked - my business prioritises love and connection above all else. My aim is to make my business a safe and welcoming environment for all those I am privileged to work with.

Are you an LGBTQIA+ friendly business?

All travel costs and accommodation charges throughout mainland Scotland are included within my prices. For anything a little further afield or abroad, please feel free to reach out to discuss your needs.

Do you charge extra for travel costs and accommodation?

Make an enquiry over at the contact page, and I will get back to you with availability and a copy of my brochure. If we're a good fit, the date can be secured with a 30% reatiner and a signed contract.

How do we secure our date?

5

Sure! Not everyone elopes alone, with many choosing to bring along their closest friends and family to witness and take part in their ceremony. There is also an opportunity to capture some group photos together after your ceremony, before heading off on your couple shoot across some truly spectacular locations.

Can we bring guests to our elopement?
