There is something truly special about eloping in the great outdoors: the moody clouds, towering mountains, winding rivers, crushing waterfalls - they all add to the magic that is eloping in Scotland.
So, if you aren't bothered by the wind and the rain, don't mind getting a little dirty in totally inappropriate clothes, and place epic, cinematic photography at the top of your list, then you've come to the right place.
I'm here for the wild and outdoorsy, the seekers of intimacy, the adventurous lovers.
Sound like you?
Elopements in Scotland are unique. Whether that be the locations, itinerary, or even the changeable weather - there are no two elopements the same. In fact, this is one of the biggest reasons my couples choose to elope to Scotland: to craft a day that is truly theirs.
But this comes with the difficulty of not knowing where to start! With traditional weddings, the venue and its coordinator usually take control of things like the timeline, and with it being a fixed venue, there is no need to think too much about locations.
That's where I come in!
The service I offer is best described as a partial-planning service. From the moment you're in the books, I am here to help create the elopement you've always dreamed of here in Scotland. Whether that be recommendations for cosy accommodation, celebrants, hair and makeup artists or beautiful local flowers, I am here for you. And when we're a little close to your elopement, I draft a timeline for you taking into consideration where you're staying, how late you'd like to stay out into the evening, and which locations you'd like to visit. On the day I pick you up from your accommodation and take you on an adventure, moving from location to location as we visit some truly epic locations to create your gallery of beautiful elopement images.
Not sure where you'd like to visit on your elopement day? No problem! I can provide example imagery from a huge array of potential locations within the region you're staying in, whether that be Glencoe, the Isle of Skye, the Cairgorms, Loch Lomond or further afield. And if you really can't decide, I can provide itinerary suggestions for the perfect elopement based on time of year and where you're staying.

Are you attracted to the idea of escaping to the wild to marry your loved one in a beautiful, secluded and romantic ceremony? Or maybe you'd like to renew your vows and capture the photos you never imagined possible? This is your opportunity to make the day about you and your love story, because that's what a wedding should really be about.
My elopement and intimate wedding packages offer a number of options based on the required level of coverage, and we will work together to craft the ideal timeline in the perfect setting.
From the writing of vows in a cosy corner of a cottage, to the first look nestled within the trees, and the ceremony on the hill top through to the portrait session by the loch, I am there to guide and support - but above all, capture your elopement in all of its beauty.

Matt went above and beyond, offering guidance and assistance that truly enhanced our special day. His knowledge of the area was invaluable, capturing breathtaking shots against Skye's stunning backdrop and we are forever grateful for the beautiful memories captured by Matt.

Matt provided us with a fantastic experience in Glencoe. We were both nervous, but from the start Matt was very comforting and calmed our nerves. The end results were amazing - Matt captured photos that we will forever cherish. Would 100% recommend!
SAM KENNETT
We had a fantastic experience, battling the elements in Glencoe with Matt! He knew all the best places to go in order to get the coolest shots and made us feel so comfortable from start to finish! Not even ice or rain could get in our way and the images turned out better than we could’ve ever expected.

kind words from
Eloping to Scotland means it will likely rain at some point, even during the summer, so my advice is to embrace it! Some of my favourite elopements have been on wet and windy days because the weather can make your photos even more dramatic. If the weather is particularly bad, we can take short breaks and find spots that are a little more sheltered.
What happens during adverse weather?
My average turnaround for your photos is eight weeks, but this can fluctuate depending on time of year. The number of photos can vary depending on a number of factors, but on average my couples receive around 50 photos per hour of coverage.
Quality is much more important to me than quantity or speed, as I work to ensure you receive the very best final product.
When do we receive our photos, and how many will we get?
A question that one day I hope should never need be asked - my business prioritises love and connection above all else. My aim is to make my business a safe and welcoming environment for all those I am privileged to work with.
Are you an LGBTQIA+ friendly business?
All travel costs and accommodation charges throughout mainland Scotland are included within my prices. For anything a little further afield or abroad, please feel free to reach out to discuss your needs.
Do you charge extra for travel costs and accommodation?
Make an enquiry over at the contact page, and I will get back to you with availability and a copy of my brochure. If we're a good fit, the date can be secured with a 30% reatiner and a signed contract.
How do we secure our date?
Sure! Not everyone elopes alone, with many choosing to bring along their closest friends and family to witness and take part in their ceremony. There is also an opportunity to capture some group photos together after your ceremony, before heading off on your couple shoot across some truly spectacular locations.
Can we bring guests to our elopement?
