There is something truly special about eloping in the great outdoors: the moody clouds, towering mountains, winding rivers, crushing waterfalls - they all add to the magic that is eloping in Scotland.

So, if you aren't bothered by the wind and the rain, don't mind getting a little dirty in totally inappropriate clothes, and place epic, cinematic photography at the top of your list, then you've come to the right place.

I'm here for the wild and outdoorsy, the seekers of intimacy, the adventurous lovers.

Are you attracted to the idea of escaping to the wild to marry your loved one in a beautiful, secluded and romantic ceremony? Or maybe you'd like to renew your vows and capture the photos you never imagined possible? This is your opportunity to make the day about you and your love story, because that's what a wedding should really be about.

My elopement and intimate wedding packages offer a number of options based on the required level of coverage, and we will work together to craft the ideal timeline in the perfect setting.

From the writing of vows in a cosy corner of a cottage, to the first look nestled within the trees, and the ceremony on the hill top through to the portrait session by the loch, I am there to guide and support - but above all, capture your elopement in all of its beauty.

The Collections

Have you just got engaged and want to celebrate your love with an epic, fun and adventurous photoshoot? Maybe you're planning a trip to Scotland and want to mark the occasion with some stunning photos in the Scottish landscape? Or maybe you're just fed up with having no decent photos together as a couple?

With my adventure session packages, we can correct this. Working together we will find a location to your liking and spend some time exploring the landscape and seeking out areas to create the photos you always dreamed of having.

This is an informal session and I will ensure you are relaxed and comfortable so that you can enjoy the entire experience.

Matt went above and beyond, offering guidance and assistance that truly enhanced our special day. His knowledge of the area was invaluable, capturing breathtaking shots against Skye's stunning backdrop and we are forever grateful for the beautiful memories captured by Matt.

Matt provided us with a fantastic experience in Glencoe. We were both nervous, but from the start Matt was very comforting and calmed our nerves. The end results were amazing - Matt captured photos that we will forever cherish. Would 100% recommend!

We had a fantastic experience, battling the elements in Glencoe with Matt! He knew all the best places to go in order to get the coolest shots and made us feel so comfortable from start to finish! Not even ice or rain could get in our way and the images turned out better than we could’ve ever expected.

Let's team up

Eloping to Scotland means it will likely rain at some point, even during the summer, so my advice is to embrace it! Some of my favourite elopements have been on wet and windy days because the weather can make your photos even more dramatic. If the weather is particularly bad, we can take short breaks and find spots that are a little more sheltered.

What happens during adverse weather?

My average turnaround for your photos is eight weeks, but this can fluctuate depending on time of year. The number of photos can vary depending on a number of factors, but on average my couples receive around 50 photos per hour of coverage.

Quality is much more important to me than quantity or speed, as I work to ensure you receive the very best final product.

When do we receive our photos, and how many will we get?

2

A question that one day I hope should never need be asked - my business prioritises love and connection above all else. My aim is to make my business a welcoming environment for all those I am privileged to work with.

Are you an LGBTQIA+ friendly business?

3

All travel costs and accommodation charges throughout mainland Scotland are included within my prices. For anything a little further afield or abroad, please feel free to reach out to discuss your needs.

Do you charge extra for travel costs and accommodation?

4

Make an enquiry over at the contact page, and I will get back to you with availability and a copy of my brochure. If we're a good fit, the date can be secured with a 30% deposit and a signed contract.

How do we secure our date?

5

Of course! Being an elopement photographer is a much wider-ranging role than simply taking your photos. I can assist with supplier recommendations, accommodation, ceremony location ideas and timeline planning. If you'd like more comprehensive planning help, I also offer all-inclusive elopements for a stress-free experience.

We're struggling with the rest of our planning, can you help?
